Lucien Zollt hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hartwig Engelhardt went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Mang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KFC Uerdingen 05 made a substitution. Brian Laudrup replaced Simon Bannenbusch. There was no doubt that KFC Uerdingen 05 were the better team. KFC Uerdingen 05's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
