In the 15th play minute 卓林烨 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. In the 23rd minute Kong Xi Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by 卓林烨 got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Desiderio Oier lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Tomas Illescas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Viejo Lobo De Mar booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Laurgain in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, 卓林烨 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and 卓林烨 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 卓林烨 to make the kick off. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viejo Lobo De Mar's Javier Zanetti was substituted for Codruț Văleanu. Viejo Lobo De Mar made a substitution. Zbyszko Dziewedik replaced Kong Xi Guo. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes of play, Viejo Lobo De Mar's 卓林烨 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Damaso Urbez made a huge save.
