Codrin Barbăneagră was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Enciu in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Sârban in the 16th minute. Iosif Sârban's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosif Sârban helped the player get up and apologised. Iosif Sârban kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Codrin Barbăneagră took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Sârban in the 24th minute. Codrin Barbăneagră made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Enciu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes AC Milan Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Mălăele. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Creangă came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Creangă in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 35th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Barbăneagră. Codrin Barbăneagră dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Valentin Enciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the AC Milan Tigers defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codrin Barbăneagră. The AC Milan Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codrin Barbăneagră should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Creangă made a kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Codrin Barbăneagră made a huge save. In the 57th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Codrin Barbăneagră made a huge save. AC Milan Tigers's Codrin Barbăneagră proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan Tigers from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Creangă in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 played minutes AC Milan Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Calboreanu. Costin Ciorobîtcă kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Codrin Barbăneagră. The goal made the score 0-4. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Sârban in the 95th minute of play. After 97 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC Milan Tigers.
