In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Julio Vera went to the wrong direction when Naldo Nascimento was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Tommy Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Thiago Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Messi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Thiago Messi charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thiago Messi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Thiago Messi hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Lingren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Agustín Saelices heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tommy Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Lingren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's Daniel Brailovsky got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Brailovsky to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Brailovsky in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Daniel Brailovsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rafa Borre sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Thiago Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Lingren having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Tommy Lingren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Daniel Brailovsky kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Tommy Lingren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. Daniel Brailovsky struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES. When Benjamin Agüero fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES's protests and gave Benjamin Agüero a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Lingren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 88th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CASEBONNE PROPIEDADES were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
