Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kees Plappert made the kick off which started today's match. Gavino Orlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kees Plappert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. The supporters of Sydney FC booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sydney FC's zone, Celestino Mingo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Guderian came out of the goal and Celestino Mingo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adnan Tilner during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Adnan Tilner. After having played for 16 minutes, Isaac Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Vistruario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Sydney FC's Ernst Schnur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavino Orlan. Gavino Orlan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Danko Schiffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Sydney FC's Florian Guderian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Mingo in the 26th minute of play. Florian Guderian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Mingo in the 29th minute of play. Gavino Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kees Plappert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes of play, Sydney FC's Pierre Möhn made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute Pierre Möhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Mingo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Kees Plappert made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Orlan. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kees Plappert in the 58th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Sydney FC's Ernst Schnur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Orlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Bruno Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Guderian having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kees Plappert in the 79th minute of play forced ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Möhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Kees Plappert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hinrik Grobmaul to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 90th minute, but Florian Guderian got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sydney FC hanging dry this time. Celestino Mingo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Florian Guderian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danko Schiffmann hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Celestino Mingo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 96thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Florian Guderian would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the referee ended the match the Sydney FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
