In the 11th match minute, Machu Picchu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Tümay to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Machu Picchu's Halil Can Keramettin got control of the ball when Rodrigo Bixintxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Machu Picchu's Binali Yanıker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Abilio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Karasuno defense, Binali Yanıker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Abilio. The Karasuno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Abilio should have stopped the shot. Binali Yanıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Binali Yanıker came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Machu Picchu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binali Yanıker couldn't finish the play. The Karasuno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Machu Picchu were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Binali Yanıker made the kick off in the second half. Halil Can Keramettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Suero in the 55th minute of the match. Halil Can Keramettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Machu Picchu's Mehmet Anıl Rical got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halil Can Keramettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Gabirel in the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Machu Picchu getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Halim Tümay hit a great ball. Fausto Ler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halil Can Keramettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Raul Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Can Keramettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 95th minute Rodrigo Bixintxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Can Keramettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Ler scored 1-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halil Can Keramettin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
