Kaká Reis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Peter Heidemann. Gilberto Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in OS IMPOSSIVEIS's zone, Kees Plappert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaká Reis came out of the goal and Kees Plappert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sydney FC's Kees Plappert in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The penalty shot was made by Nat Schmitt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Kaká Reis. 2-0. Pierre Möhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florian Guderian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
