The supporters of Karasuno booed when Aysouraguán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porfiro Carro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aysouraguán's zone, Lucas Fraco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldemer Sevilla came out of the goal and Lucas Fraco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seve Higuera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Estebano having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Seve Higuera made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Karasuno's Omar Estebano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Karasuno's Teofilo Berenguer got a free kick in the 25th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, José Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aysouraguán's supporters rose to their feet, but José Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Estebano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Karasuno's goal looked a bit too open when José Santos came free, but Omar Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldemer Sevilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Omar Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Santos in the 42nd minute of the match. The Karasuno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aysouraguán were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seve Higuera to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Karmel during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aysouraguán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karasuno the free kick. Teo Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Rodrigo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Karasuno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Kinsen to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 75 minutes, José Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aysouraguán's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aysouraguán's zone, Fausto Ler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldemer Sevilla came out of the goal and Fausto Ler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Aysouraguán fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Aysouraguán's Seve Higuera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. During the 84th minute of the match Alfonso Karmel completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alfonso Karmel a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Karasuno getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alfonso Karmel hit a great ball. Omar Estebano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Porfiro Carro.
