The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Aragua FC's Renato Nunez-Tesheira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaizki Valverde. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Stan in the 12th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Acebal in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaizki Valverde saved Aysouraguán from getting behind. Jaizki Valverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Nunez-Tesheira in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aysouraguán's goalkeeper Jaizki Valverde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Stan in the 30th minute of play. Renato Nunez-Tesheira might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaizki Valverde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renato Nunez-Tesheira ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Stan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Aragua FC's Lauro Acebal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jaizki Valverde. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Zachary Flores hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Nunez-Tesheira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lauro Acebal in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaizki Valverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Stan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Aragua FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jesús Casado was slow to take the kick. During this time Aysouraguán's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jesús Casado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Haitz Langarica quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 73 minutes into the game, Aysouraguán's Victor Stan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haitz Langarica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Nunez-Tesheira in the 76th minute of play forced Aysouraguán's goalkeeper Jaizki Valverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Victor Stan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Aragua FC's Haitz Langarica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederick Dorado's late challenge caught a Atletico Aragua FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederick Dorado helped the player get up and apologised. Frederick Dorado kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jaizki Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Nunez-Tesheira, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Jaizki Valverde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renato Nunez-Tesheira went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Nunez-Tesheira in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaizki Valverde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaizki Valverde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Nunez-Tesheira's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
