Stommeer A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gertjan Hardering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Aznaro in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Simons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Dobrowski in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo got control of the ball when Martijn Jol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martijn Jol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Fernando Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Martijn Jol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stommeer A's supporters rose to their feet, but Martijn Jol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Cordearo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Dobrowski's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Franck Akkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franck Akkerman came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Cordearo could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Alfred Dobrowski put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silverio Cordearo. Alfred Dobrowski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Balasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of CA Quake booed when Stommeer A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martijn Jol didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martijn Jol in the 60th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Tom Hedvall got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silverio Cordearo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67th minute, Martijn Jol made a precise shot to the right of Silverio Cordearo. CA Quake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. CA Quake's Tomi Giusti was substituted for Eloy Larra. Ramon Simons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Ubelteso in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Damien Roetering left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stommeer A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Martijn Jol scored 5-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Cordearo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 93rd minute of the match. Stommeer A's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
