Kerkûk FC were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Aysouraguán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walery Fikus took the corner. The corner led Kerkûk FC's Walery Fikus to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaizki Valverde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 47th minute, Walery Fikus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerkûk FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walery Fikus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
