Renato Nunez-Tesheira succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Rafe Vallina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poyraz Sunay struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Haitz Langarica didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chester Bennington. After 44 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Fano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johan Hellström to strike the kick off in the second half. Poyraz Sunay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Haitz Langarica made a huge save.
