With an all-out effort, Stommeer A's Jaizki Valverde threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfred Dobrowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damien Roetering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaizki Valverde having to interfere. Frederick Dorado's late challenge caught a Stommeer A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederick Dorado helped the player get up and apologised. Frederick Dorado kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Jaizki Valverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Dobrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aysouraguán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesús Casado in the 23rd minute. After 23rd play minutes José Vítor Domingues shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Ramon Simons and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Dobrowski in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaizki Valverde saved Aysouraguán from getting behind. In the 38th minute, José Vítor Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Simons was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Damien Roetering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Damien Roetering managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stommeer A's supporters rose to their feet, but Damien Roetering was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaizki Valverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaizki Valverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Dobrowski in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Dobrowski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Stommeer A's Alfred Dobrowski in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jaizki Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Jol in the 57th minute of the match. Aysouraguán's Jaizki Valverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Roetering in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Franck Akkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Aysouraguán's Ludomir Pionek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ramon Simons. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. Jaizki Valverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Dobrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aysouraguán's José Vítor Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Henry Salazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aysouraguán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stommeer A the free kick. The supporters of Stommeer A booed when Aysouraguán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Salazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaizki Valverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Roetering in the 82nd minute of play. Jaizki Valverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Dobrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Dobrowski in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaizki Valverde saved Aysouraguán from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match Stommeer A got a corner. Aysouraguán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Hedvall ran over to the corner to take the kick. Damien Roetering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Aysouraguán supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aysouraguán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
