When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Walery Fikus sped through Buenos Muchachos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 乔邦树. 乔邦树 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Fikus's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The corner led Kerkûk FC's Henning Björk to fire away a dangerous shot which 乔邦树 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Kilberg in the 17th minute of play forced Buenos Muchachos's goalkeeper 乔邦树 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Bareiro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 乔邦树 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walery Fikus in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 乔邦树 saved Buenos Muchachos from getting behind. In the 21stth minute of the game Walery Fikus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Muchachos's 乔邦树 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 乔邦树 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavier Medel's late challenge caught a Kerkûk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Medel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Buenos Muchachos getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Xavier Medel hit a great ball. 乔邦树 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Fikus's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Emilio Boix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Esbjörn Forssell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Jaramillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Forssell made a huge save. In the 39thth minute of the game Walery Fikus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buenos Muchachos's 乔邦树 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esbjörn Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Boix in the 42nd minute of play. After 46 played minutes Kerkûk FC got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Lindblom. With an all-out effort, Buenos Muchachos's Esbjörn Forssell threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emilio Boix, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Jaramillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Buenos Muchachos's Hugo Jaramillo in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Walery Fikus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of 乔邦树 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 乔邦树 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Fikus in the 81st minute. Walery Fikus struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. 乔邦树 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kerkûk FC. The Kerkûk FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
