After some careless play in the Karasuno defense, Damien Roetering kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Estebano. The Karasuno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Estebano should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Dobrowski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Estebano saved Karasuno from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Damien Roetering's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Estebano was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40th minute Reinier Ieberink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
