A collision led to Kerkûk FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Roy Gustavsson hit a great ball. Esbjörn Forssell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wojciech Barycz's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Emrys Hannah made a great header on Onyx's corner, it was just that Kerkûk FC's Esbjörn Forssell managed to reach the ball for a save. When Matthias Norberg fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerkûk FC's protests and gave Matthias Norberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kerkûk FC's Matthias Norberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jurand Jaraczeski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emrys Hannah ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Kerkûk FC's Robert Achim got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Jaraczeski got free with Esbjörn Forssell in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Fikus in the 37th minute of play forced Onyx's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Domarecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kerkûk FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Onyx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walery Fikus took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kerkûk FC's corner Walery Fikus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zdzislaw Domarecki quite easily take care of the ball. Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Bareiro in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Onyx made a substitution. Konrad Bubczyk replaced Zbyszko Lech. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walery Fikus was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Piotr Zahemski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Forssell was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Zdzislaw Domarecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Bareiro went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd match minute, Kerkûk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Lindblom to maneuver through the defense. Esbjörn Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piotr Zahemski in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Piotr Zahemski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kerkûk FC's Esbjörn Forssell. Esbjörn Forssell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kerkûk FC's Esbjörn Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Jurand Jaraczeski made a precise shot to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. Kerkûk FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 79 minutes into the match, Onyx's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Kilberg came free, but Zdzislaw Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zdzislaw Domarecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Fikus in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kerkûk FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Onyx.
