Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Pisarczyk came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pontus Nordström having to interfere. After 44 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Quijana. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Lordi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. After 47 minutes, Gerardo Lordi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The A.D. Alcorcón players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Margarita were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 53rd minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Maurino Serena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pontus Nordström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belo Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurino Serena. That made the score 0-4 after 76 minutes of play. 80 minutes into the match, Mauro Icardi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurino Serena, 0-5. A.D. Alcorcón's Isaac Ortiz was substituted for Belo Alvarez. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Celio took the corner. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Santa Margarita eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
