Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Serrizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 minutes A.D. Alcorcón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adamantios Geronimidis who took care of the corner kick. After 15 played minutes C.A. LANUS got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Saâdallah. Cristian Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belo Alvarez in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute A.D. Alcorcón were awarded a corner. Leroy Antunez went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on A.D. Alcorcón's corner Leroy Antunez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Mergildo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Manolo Bacete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Mergildo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Manolo Bacete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Mergildo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Pang Xing Lang might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Serena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pang Xing Lang ran back to his position shaking his head. Per-Åke Saâdallah hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Cristian Mergildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belo Alvarez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manolo Bacete in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mergildo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Geronimidis in the 43rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Adamantios Geronimidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Belo Alvarez made the kick off in the second half. Per-Åke Saâdallah hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eriz Acha replaced Natxo Cacheres. The supporters of C.A. LANUS booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the final whistle went the supporters of A.D. Alcorcón were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant C.A. LANUS side.
