Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerardo Lordi started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Gerardo Lordi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Andréas Hasselqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Prospero Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Lordi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Edmond Verdun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 19th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Errecaborda AFC's Victorino Sandalio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pontus Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Sandalio in the 28th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Lordi in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmond Verdun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Peruxu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Andréas Hasselqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edmond Verdun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Prospero Jerardo made a precise shot to the right of Pontus Nordström. Santa Margarita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Santa Margarita defense, Isidro Gines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pontus Nordström. The Santa Margarita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pontus Nordström should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Isidro Gines notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström. Pontus Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Errecaborda AFC were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Sandalio to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witomir Pisarczyk's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jerardo came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 58th minute of the match. Andréas Hasselqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Gerardo Lordi. When Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines, in the 70th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Errecaborda AFC. 71 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 75 in the game by Pastor Ado from a close distance when the talented Pontus Nordström managed to make a qualified save. Santa Margarita's players were relieved. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Icardi in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Klaus Mohammadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaus Mohammadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enzo Peruxu who took care of the corner kick. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Wendell Davids replaced Enzo Peruxu. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 87th minute of play. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. In the 97th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
