After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Jorge Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atahan Balon came out of the goal and Jorge Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Fabio Bencivenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Molina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 64th minute of play. Ladislao Constancio got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sander Tielemans. The audience was convinced that Enzo Bot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atahan Balon was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
