Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Cristian Mergildo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. LANUS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pastor Ado was slow to take the kick. During this time Errecaborda AFC's players had a chance to rest. Errecaborda AFC's Prospero Jerardo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Mergildo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Mergildo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Sandalio went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Errecaborda AFC's Cristian Mergildo threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victorino Sandalio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Cristian Mergildo managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Xing Lang in the 27th minute of play. C.A. LANUS were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Errecaborda AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adamantios Geronimidis took the corner. The corner ended in Adamantios Geronimidis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun did a great save. Victorino Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Serrizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes Errecaborda AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adamantios Geronimidis who took care of the corner kick. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Cristian Mergildo made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, C.A. LANUS's goalkeeper Cristian Mergildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Ado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidro Gines got free with Cristian Mergildo in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a left leg Cristian Mergildo saved C.A. LANUS from getting behind. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. The audience was convinced that Pastor Ado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristian Mergildo was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Ado in the 88th minute.
