When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Sander Tielemans put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amado Jordão. 9 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilberto Nayely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Nayely got free with Atahan Balon in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Jacob in the 14th minute of play forced Punk Fiction's goalkeeper Amado Jordão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Fabio Bencivenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Nayely blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atahan Balon having to make a save. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asiz Soon in the 96th minute of play. The Punk Fiction players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
