Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Pisarczyk came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Witomir Pisarczyk made a precise shot to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belo Alvarez made a kick off. If Andréas Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurino Serena was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi managed to work through A.D. Alcorcón's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gerardo Lordi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Delmar Mayor. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Arcadio Ramiréz. Mauro Icardi might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Serena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mauro Icardi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Mauro Icardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauro Icardi in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belo Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Mauro Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maurino Serena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of A.D. Alcorcón:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Santa Margarita:s goal. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Icardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström got control of the ball when Isaac Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Icardi in the 88th minute of play. Arcadio Ramiréz made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leroy Antunez immediately put the ball in play. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Icardi in the 92nd minute of the match. Mauro Icardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When Mauro Icardi came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Santa Margarita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Icardi couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Santa Margarita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
