The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Efrain Jacob's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Elpidio Francis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atahan Balon. Los Muchachos del 86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Francis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Honesto in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Sander Tielemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Fabio Bencivenni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Monclús made a kick off. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Los Muchachos del 86 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Babbis Boukouvalas hit a great ball. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 61st minute of play. André Monclús scored 4-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atahan Balon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Babbis Boukouvalas threw the ball into play from the sideline. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Petrică Măcriș quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aristides Asteri hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Atahan Balon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. 94 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jérémie Boix. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 97th minute of play forced Los Muchachos del 86's goalkeeper Atahan Balon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Ljubenković in the 100th minute of the match. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
