Mauro Rameriz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Elpidio Francis took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bonifacio Suarez fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Bonifacio Suarez a yellow card for diving instead. Bonifacio Suarez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Victorino Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal and Victorino Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Everardo Cordarell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute, Errecaborda AFC's Prospero Jerardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Branislav Velchevski. The Errecaborda AFC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 43 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Jerardo came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Francis to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 60th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Branislav Velchevski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Isidro Gines notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski. Everardo Cordarell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when André Monclús sent off a good shot on target. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errecaborda AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
