Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Facundo Cadaval's late challenge caught a Salamanca UDS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Facundo Cadaval helped the player get up and apologised. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Joaquim Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-0. Lorenzo Cazalla charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Cazalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 10 minutes into the game, Kamel Espitalier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of play forced Salamanca UDS's goalkeeper Saip Baltaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla scored 3-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saip Baltaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Joaquim Carvalho in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kemalettin Tunçbilek hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Saip Baltaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Heinloo in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saip Baltaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salamanca UDS's Saip Baltaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Kamel Espitalier took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 33rd minute of play forced Salamanca UDS's goalkeeper Saip Baltaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saip Baltaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. If Joaquim Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 43rd minute of the match Facundo Cadaval completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Facundo Cadaval a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 43rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

50 minutes into the game, Kamel Espitalier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Mexico booed when Salamanca UDS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şanver Selman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Joel Gaona from long distance, 55 minutes into the match, got Saip Baltaş's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Saip Baltaş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Salamanca UDS's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Saip Baltaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute David Holmstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Kamel Espitalier came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saip Baltaş was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 5-5. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Kamel Espitalier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Holmstedt in the 91st minute of play. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Holmstedt's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After 93 minutes, David Holmstedt made it 6-5 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Salamanca UDS.
