With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Mantzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacinto Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacinto Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Torres got free with Serafin Mantzio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Mantzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Los Davicitos's goalkeeper Serafin Mantzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Torres. 27 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Ireno came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Conrad Vrolijcx came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Haithabu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad Vrolijcx couldn't finish the play. When Amado Irrintzi fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Davicitos's protests and gave Amado Irrintzi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Davicitos getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Amado Irrintzi hit a great ball. Jacinto Torres scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Mantzio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marc Van Beets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haithabu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Van Beets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Mantzio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacinto Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Mantzio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Goito in the 40th minute of play forced Haithabu FC's goalkeeper Fabian Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Mantzio having to make a save. Los Davicitos's Serafin Mantzio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Davicitos from getting a goal against them. Kurt Slaghmeulders hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Roberto Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Serafin Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Los Davicitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Marques to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Haithabu FC booed when Los Davicitos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haithabu FC's Gervasio Albonico was substituted for Kurt Slaghmeulders. After 68 played minutes Los Davicitos got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Goito. Los Davicitos's Serafin Mantzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Torres in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Los Davicitos got a freekick which was hit by Amado Galtero. In the 71st minute Jacinto Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Albonico charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Albonico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gervasio Albonico kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijonas Mikutavičius in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Jacinto Torres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Serafin Mantzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Haithabu FC's Adrian Astigar got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th match minute, Haithabu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Albonico to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Enmanuel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Davicitos's zone, Mauri Icardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Mantzio came out of the goal and Mauri Icardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haithabu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
