Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Aurelio Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Rexino was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 10th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Milosz Zgonina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Rexino. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Rexino should have stopped the shot. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play forced Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Rexino having to interfere. In the 44th minute Marco Mook shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Nildo Matos tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nildo Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Ben Rensenbrink got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Rekawiczka. In the 64th minute of the match Seagulls got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ben Rensenbrink ran over to the corner to take the kick. A sloppy throw-in by Dariusz Rekawiczka in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd play minute Mariano Lacasa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurelio Rexino. 1-5. 77 minutes into the match, Guillermo Fontirroig sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Aurelio Rexino threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Guillermo Fontirroig this time. 81 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Matos's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Mook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
