Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edgar Lang made the kick off and thus started the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan White, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC ARK CS's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Joey came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yiğit Hasan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolas Joey quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Lang in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sammy Corcoran was slow to take the kick. During this time FC ARK CS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Sammy Corcoran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 21 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicolas Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nicolas Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan White in the 50th minute of the match. FC ARK CS were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sammy Corcoran took the corner. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Júlio Severo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Severo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Júlio Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Severo in the 62nd minute of the match. Edgar Lang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Júlio Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ARK CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute Sammy Corcoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nicolas Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sammy Corcoran went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With his leg Nicolas Joey managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Lang in the 88th minute of play.
