Brandon Mang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Brandon Mang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KFC Uerdingen 05's Sylwester Dziuma got a free kick in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Brandon Mang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Mang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Nowak in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Nowak, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Simon Brechbilder hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Mang having to interfere. Lucien Zollts short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 41 played minutes KFC Uerdingen 05 got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Dziuma. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brandon Mang firmly grabbed it by the left post. Simon Bannenbusch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Uerdingen 05 from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Brandon Mang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sylwester Dziuma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Fabrizio Nowak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, KFC Uerdingen 05's Brandon Mang got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Brandon Mang made a huge save. When Fabrizio Nowak fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Uerdingen 05's protests and gave Fabrizio Nowak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KFC Uerdingen 05 getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Fabrizio Nowak hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, KFC Uerdingen 05's Hartwig Engelhardt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arseniy Bokatyuk to maneuver through the defense. Brandon Mang was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-3. Ecuador played a much better game than KFC Uerdingen 05 and deserved their victory. The KFC Uerdingen 05 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
