One of FC Tarbja:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. 15 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Tarbja's Ferdinand Van Mechelen. Ferdinand Van Mechelen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, FC Tarbja's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Ferdinand Van Mechelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tao Xun Ying. In the 25th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Kukkur in the 27th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lembit Kukkur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 88th minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ferdinand Van Mechelen. Ferdinand Van Mechelen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-3. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Facundo Cadaval. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Tarbja fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
