Damazy Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Damazy Kinic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 10 minutes into the game, Ovidio Jakobe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XENEIXES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. 9 minutes into the game, one of XENEIXES FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. XENEIXES FC:s Damazy Kinic showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Illescas:s penalty. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Frits Nabe sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, XENEIXES FC's Ovidio Jakobe got a free kick in the 14th minute. Frits Nabe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alin Pârvan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XENEIXES FC the free kick. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Vyacheslav Konopatov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvador Gisbert got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jose Correa. In the 42nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Vyacheslav Konopatov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Vyacheslav Konopatov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vyacheslav Konopatov in the 47th minute of play. Cristobal Gorri hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Tabb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. XENEIXES FC's Jeremias Ixaka was substituted for Octavio Salvatore. XENEIXES FC's Denis Chano was substituted for Vyacheslav Konopatov. If Frits Nabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of XENEIXES FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball.
