An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Las Casas in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 王 江志锋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Pajala Sunrise's 王 江志锋 got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when 王 江志锋 sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Las Casas in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doug Las Casas in the 29th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doug Las Casas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cholachat Coolcat having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pajala Sunrise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lindman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Cholachat Coolcat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Börje Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doug Las Casas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pajala Sunrise's Mathias Nässén managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alex Chicote in the 62 minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Pajala Sunrise got a freekick which was hit by David Lindman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Stefan Lindholm replaced Sebastian Tolsson. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pajala Sunrise's Cholachat Coolcat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Pajala Sunrise from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Arne Svartengren came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Per-Arne Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute of the game Karl-Oskar Högman made a throw-in which Johannes Friberger played forward. After 87 minutes, Ingvar Lindqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pajala Sunrise and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, Pajala Sunrise was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute of the match Joshua Secada sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cholachat Coolcat skillfully saved the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pajala Sunrise's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
