Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Valer Uduleanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Uduleanu came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 19th minute, Stig-Ove Kiempe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Eugen Boldur scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Cornel Panaitescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Valer Uduleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 minutes, Valer Uduleanu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Valer Uduleanu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 51st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Vulpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Uduleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65thth minute of the game Valer Uduleanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Panaitescu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Uduleanu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Valer Uduleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cormoranii -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Boldur, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Roberto Perfumo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Valer Uduleanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cormoranii -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
