The audience thought a goal was coming when Asa Norberg got free with Dante Lacasa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Outback Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Santos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Stålberg in the 10th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Herman Stålberg sent off a good shot on target. Outback Fc's Santos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Santos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play forced Outback Fc's goalkeeper Santos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Outback Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Santos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Outback Fc's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingemar Fristedt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Santos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of the match. Outback Fc's Santos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Santos. Santos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Santos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 43rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilius Gudavičius in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Outback Fc's goalkeeper Santos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 47th minute. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santos Santos. That made the score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. Santos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Facundo Cadaval put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Herman Stålberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 69 played minutes Outback Fc got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Trillkott. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Outback Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Lautaro Mancebo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
