Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Benitez in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Franky Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hunor Csapó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Franky Ooms who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Franky Ooms sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Benitez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franky Ooms's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orhan Ortanca was slow to take the kick. During this time Buffalo Timişoara's players had a chance to rest. When Dorin Oravițan fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buffalo Timişoara's protests and gave Dorin Oravițan a yellow card for diving instead. Hunor Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Buffalo Timişoara got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Ortanca. In the 36th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hunor Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Ignacy Cerocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buffalo Timişoara and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ignacy Cerocki hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Hunor Csapó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Lorenzo Cazalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Augusto Benitez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Benitez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zbora in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franky Ooms to make the kick off. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hunor Csapó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Adrian Zbora put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Benitez in the 60th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Hunor Csapó in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Benitez scored 3-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Zbora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Voicu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After 76 minutes, Valentin Voicu made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hunor Csapó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Voicu in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Adrian Zbora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Augusto Benitez. But to his dismay, Augusto Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Buffalo Timişoara were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
