Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cornel Panaitescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Diaconu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costel Diaconu. When Cristian Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 22nd minute of the match. Cormoranii -MM- were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Vulpe took the corner. Marcel Vulpe made a great header on Cormoranii -MM-'s corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Valer Uduleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Valer Uduleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. Cornel Panaitescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valer Uduleanu made a kick off. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s Valer Uduleanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Zoff having to interfere. After 67 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A nice corner shot did that Marcel Vulpe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dino Zoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A nice corner shot did that Eugen Boldur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Cormoranii -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Cormoranii -MM-'s Eugen Boldur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
