Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by GAÚCHO FC's Vilhelm Lorden. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Lorden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Vilhelm Lorden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilhelm Lorden really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Vilhelm Lorden took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürsel Saltukalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Prata got free with Benito Sanz in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiran Centers was slow to take the kick. During this time GAÚCHO FC's players had a chance to rest. Tiran Centers made a great header on GAÚCHO FC's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Vilhelm Lorden sent off a good shot on target. Vilhelm Lorden's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 23 minutes, Vilhelm Lorden made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Saltukalp came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Vilhelm Lorden tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Vilhelm Lorden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilhelm Lorden to make the kick off. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gürsel Saltukalp's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Valério Netto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Costa Rica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GAÚCHO FC:s goal. Tiran Centers shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilhelm Lorden in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Gürsel Saltukalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Saltukalp in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match GAÚCHO FC got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiran Centers ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Vilhelm Lorden at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Costa Rica. 7-0. Vilhelm Lorden took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 83rd minute, Gürsel Saltukalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GAÚCHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Saltukalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Saltukalp in the 88th minute of play. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a GAÚCHO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Adilson Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the game, one of Costa Rica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by GAÚCHO FC's Marcus Prata. But to his dismay, Marcus Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. GAÚCHO FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
