Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Davi Vianna made the kick off which started today's match. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Matildo De Bethune De Looz in the 9th minute of the match. Chaman Do Bonde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Chaman Do Bonde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play forced Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Monumento Sports's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chaman Do Bonde came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Davi Vianna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaman Do Bonde. Monumento Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Silas de Godoi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chaman Do Bonde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 53rd minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Silas de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monumento Sports and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silas de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Elias Olenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chaman Do Bonde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chaman Do Bonde. Chaman Do Bonde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 63rd match minute, Monumento Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Chaman Do Bonde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chaman Do Bonde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chaman Do Bonde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goalkeeper Chaman Do Bonde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Chaman Do Bonde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol was substituted for Henrique Magalhães. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Vianna in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Monumento Sports got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Witsel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Axel Witsel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 87 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Chaman Do Bonde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Monumento Sports's Ubaldo Matildo De Bethune De Looz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lucca Gol hit a great ball. The Monumento Sports supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
