Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Gorgory's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Abel Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gorgory's Abel Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. Abel Orlan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abel Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Abel Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 15th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Abel Orlan. Gorgory's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 30th minute. Luca Rouco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Leonardo Leoz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Abel Orlan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Abel Orlan in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it.
