Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar did a great save. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Artaldo in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Andino during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th play minute Baltasar Artaldo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 1-0. 39 minutes into the game, Baltasar Artaldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Javiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Baltasar Artaldo made the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Artaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Daniel Zorita scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustaquio Javiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Artaldo succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 63 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Jeremias Lopez sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. After 93 played minutes Baraja Española FC got a freekick which was hit by 龙杰国. Eustaquio Javiar made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The Baraja Española FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
