Cezary Karpinski started the match with the kick off. The Rua da Pinga fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Rua da Pinga's Cezary Karpinski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 9th play minutes Sidónio Pacheco shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Camilo Freixa and just under the crossbar into goal. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Karpinski in the 25th minute of the match. Etienne Krummenacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Rua da Pinga's Etienne Krummenacher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Freixa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Sidónio Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Francisco Gallo hit a great ball. Cezary Karpinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Gil Santarém had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Santarém was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 78 minutes into the game, Julio Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rua da Pinga the free kick. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Karpinski came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sidónio Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rua da Pinga walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
