The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Lokomotiv Plovdiv booed when MINEIROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. 尹森泉 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Biser Mihailov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. Mário Maradona kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 19thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lokomotiv Plovdiv's keeper Biser Mihailov was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Mário Maradona took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biser Mihailov. Biser Mihailov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mário Maradona. Ricardo Custódio made a great header on MINEIROS's corner, it was just that Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Biser Mihailov managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nedko Telbizov during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biser Mihailov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Nedko Telbizov kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, MINEIROS's Mário Maradona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The wind increased when Mário Maradona made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's goal looked a bit too open when Tolis Lazaridis came free, but Thommy Jadis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 51stth minute of the game Tolis Lazaridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Nedko Telbizov got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nedko Telbizov kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mário Maradona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Biser Mihailov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MINEIROS's Smail Larbi was substituted for Clóvis Rezende. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the MINEIROS defense, Bogdan Kondov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thommy Jadis. The MINEIROS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thommy Jadis should have stopped the shot. If 尹森泉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the MINEIROS defense, Bogdan Kondov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thommy Jadis. The MINEIROS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thommy Jadis should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bon Čáp in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Biser Mihailov saved Lokomotiv Plovdiv from getting behind. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Biser Mihailov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bon Čáp in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes MINEIROS got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Vianna. In the 91st minute, Violet Skerlev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bon Čáp in the 93rd minute of play forced Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper Biser Mihailov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, MINEIROS could leave the field as winners, despite Lokomotiv Plovdiv having more of the ball for most of the match.
