Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Sergen in the 3rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Ciscaldi to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Jowsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Alan Said could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Attard Gunners's Sergen Sergen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Sergen Sergen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Attard Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergen Sergen to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Jay Jowsey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Felix Montenegro sped through Attard Gunners's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jay Jowsey. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alan Said had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergen Sergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's Sergen Sergen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Attard Gunners's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godwin Sapiano in the 41st minute. Attard Gunners's Godwin Sapiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Attard Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Jay Jowsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alan Said to strike the kick off in the second half. Jay Jowsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergen Sergen in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sergen Sergen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Godwin Sapiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godwin Sapiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jay Jowsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attard Gunners's Michael Testaferrata Olivier was substituted for Alan Said. Neville Ciscaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 96 minutes, Michael Testaferrata Olivier made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Attard Gunners had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
