The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio de Azevedo. Apocalipse FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Miguel Miralles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Antônio de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Antônio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Cambeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel. The supporters of Apocalipse FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matthew Garrido in the 23 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Matthew Garrido in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel. After 25 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. Antônio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Miralles, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Antônio de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Tiago Gabriel Brodel put in a rough tackle. Tiago Gabriel Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio de Azevedo. Antônio de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Apocalipse FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Antônio de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Antônio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Alex Cambeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio de Azevedo. Antônio de Azevedo stood somewhat misplaced when Tomas Berganza came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Antônio de Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Berganza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 81 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Antônio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 90th minute of the match. Antônio de Azevedo was a little too slow when Isidoro Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-12.
