The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elof Bolander got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl Damm during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Bokia FC were awarded a corner. Kent Giliusson went to the cornerflag to take it. Bokia FC's Elof Bolander was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ricardo Zorita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Hans Smefeldt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans Smefeldt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 29th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Dan Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bokia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Smefeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henning Billing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. In the 36th minute of the match, Zebastian Björkqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Zorita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 37th minute of the match Bokia FC got a corner. El Salvador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kent Giliusson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Billing in the 39th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Kent Giliusson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kent Giliusson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans Smefeldt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Elof Bolander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Bolander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 56 minutes into the game, Kent Giliusson threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Luis Rubio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 60 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Billing came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Hans Smefeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bokia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Jorge Magrina hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Smefeldt's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Bolander in the 68th minute of play. After 69 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Yepes. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a free kick in the 77th minute. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Björkqvist in the 78th minute of play. Kent Giliusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Billing in the 85th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Elof Bolander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Henning Billing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Kent Giliusson made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zebastian Björkqvist. 96 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Smefeldt came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bokia FC had played much better football throughout.
