The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the ArtvinHodspor defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baki Hacıoğlu. The ArtvinHodspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baki Hacıoğlu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Honduras booed when ArtvinHodspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ant Kerimhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, ArtvinHodspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sungurbey Sönmezalp to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ArtvinHodspor. Baransel Recep hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the ArtvinHodspor defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baki Hacıoğlu. The ArtvinHodspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baki Hacıoğlu should have stopped the shot. ArtvinHodspor's Baki Hacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Espinar in the 32nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Ant Kerimhan with Baransel Recep as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baki Hacıoğlu was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Baki Hacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 44th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Arif Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ant Kerimhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute of the game Ant Kerimhan made a throw-in which Sertel Yamanöz played forward. The supporters of Honduras booed when ArtvinHodspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ant Kerimhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Sertel Yamanöz came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Bedrettin Karadağ ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 75 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. The throw-in from Baransel Recep in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Berke Tanyolaç kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sertel Yamanöz during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when ArtvinHodspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee ignored ArtvinHodspor's protests and gave Aziz Aynacı a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ArtvinHodspor's Aziz Aynacı got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertel Yamanöz in the 95th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmundo Espiga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baki Hacıoğlu. That made the score 2-5 in the 97 minute of play. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
