Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roland Berkes took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Bermudez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sándor Rácz in the 8th minute. Wilfredo Bermudez might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Bermudez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Mesterháza got a freekick which was hit by Máté Béres. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zoltán Pataki saved Mesterháza from getting behind. 18 minutes into the game, Camilo Gaos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mesterháza the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Berkes got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21stth minute of the game Wilfredo Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Mesterháza's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Zoltán Pataki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zoltán Pataki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Máté Béres made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sándor Rácz. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pál Borsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Roland Berkes came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 37th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Roland Berkes came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Zoltán Pataki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With an all-out effort, Mesterháza's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wilfredo Bermudez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Mesterháza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Zoltán Pataki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mesterháza's János Gerő got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Bermudez in the 60th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Bermudez in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mesterháza booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Roland Berkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mesterháza's József Berecz got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zoltán Pataki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Gerő struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesterháza. In the 92nd minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zoltán Pataki. The goal made the score 1-1. Mesterháza were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Venezuela to leave the ground with a draw.
