Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After 4 played minutes ÇETA FK got a freekick which was hit by Ekrem Tapa. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute ÇETA FK were awarded a corner. Lucio Claus went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ÇETA FK's Zamir Osja to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 17 played minutes ÇETA FK got a freekick which was hit by Ymer Memelli. In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Gârniceanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the ÇETA FK defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu. The ÇETA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cătălin Gârniceanu should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Lucio Claus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Lucio Claus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Gârniceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced ÇETA FK's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Gârniceanu. ÇETA FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekrem Tapa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lucio Claus made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. ÇETA FK's Jetmir Ruvina was substituted for Zamir Osja. ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save ÇETA FK from getting a goal against them. Cătălin Gârniceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Benjamin Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Gârniceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cătălin Gârniceanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by ÇETA FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of ÇETA FK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Felix Montes fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Cătălin Gârniceanu moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. 91 minutes into the match, ÇETA FK's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 94 played minutes ÇETA FK got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Cefero.
