After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aktan Sara in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Tomas Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stream Sponsoren's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Vacker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Birger Påk. Stream Sponsoren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Mexico booed when Stream Sponsoren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balhikapungava Bonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aktan Sara scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Påk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Rasmus Ljungberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Birger Påk in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Birger Påk to make any attempt to save it. Joel Gaona's late challenge caught a Stream Sponsoren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Gaona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Arvin Lindell's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvin Lindell helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Stream Sponsoren got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Lindell. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 88th minute. Lex Immers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Elliott Drake came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
